Our story
The founding story.
AegisVault was born from two deeply personal life events that happened within just a few months of each other.

Founder's Note · Vol. I
The first was the loss of a parent — an emotional experience that revealed how complex and overwhelming the process of managing an estate can become. Beyond the grief itself came the practical realities: legal documentation, financial accounts, insurance policies, certificates, court processes, and the countless administrative steps required to settle an estate. What became immediately clear was how unprepared most families are when critical information is scattered, inaccessible, or unknown.
The second was a home burglary. In a single night, years of personal history disappeared — documents, photographs, records, memories, and sensitive information. Like many people, backups existed, but they were fragmented and vulnerable. The experience exposed a larger problem: most people assume their important information is safe until the moment they desperately need it.
Families are often unprepared for moments that demand immediate access, structure, trust, and continuity.
Those two events revealed the same underlying issue
AegisVault was created to solve that problem. We envisioned a secure, role-based continuity platform that allows individuals and families to safely store, organise, and manage their most important life documents and digital assets — from passports, IDs, insurance policies, wills, and property records to financial information, legal documentation, and family archives.
But storage alone is not enough.
AegisVault is designed around controlled access and continuity. Different people — spouses, children, siblings, lawyers, financial advisers, or executors — can receive defined levels of access at the right time and under the right conditions.
The platform also helps families stay proactive through intelligent reminders for critical events such as passport renewals, licence expiries, insurance updates, birthdays, anniversaries, and other life milestones.
